employee interview
Hamdoon
Senior Developer & Consultant Manager
“At Omegapoint there is a genuine desire to learn more and constantly find new, smarter ways to solve problems. It is an environment where colleagues are both curious and very generous in sharing their knowledge.”

What does a typical workday look like for you?
A typical workday for me revolves around collaboration and problem solving. I work primarily on-site at clients, where I discuss and develop sustainable, high-quality solutions with my team. A large part of it is about balancing delivery with long-term quality, but also about providing mentorship and leadership – especially in how to handle complexity in software development in a good way.
What made you decide to join Omegapoint?
What attracted me was above all the culture of competence. At Omegapoint there is a genuine desire to learn more and constantly find new, smarter ways to solve problems. It is an environment where colleagues are both curious and very generous in sharing their knowledge. It creates a unique feeling of working with like-minded people who have the same level of ambition. In addition, I find it inspiring to work in a company that has security in its DNA and wants to contribute to a safer digital society.
What’s the best part about your role?
I am driven by understanding complexity – both in technology and in the businesses I work with. This can be about understanding what makes an organization work, asking the right questions to users or identifying what challenges may arise in the future. Another part I really appreciate is leadership. As a consulting manager, I get to share my experiences, be a sounding board and a source of security for my group, and at the same time build a strong team spirit. And for me, it is important that we have fun at work – it creates energy and strengthens both the team and delivery.
How would you describe the culture at Omegapoint?
I would describe the culture as non-prestige and strongly competency-driven. It is built on curiosity, knowledge sharing and celebrating each other's successes. It creates an environment where it feels natural to both contribute and grow together.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?
I would choose to be able to fly – or have super speed. I love to travel and discover new places, and with that super power it would be possible to experience the world in a whole new way.
