Penetration tester
"The competence culture is incredible. There are so many talented and kind colleagues who are always eager to share their knowledge."

What does a typical workday look like for you?
My days can look quite different, but they usually start with a coffee, either at the client’s office or at ours. After that, we have a morning meeting with the client where we go through any vulnerabilities we’ve found during testing or discuss any open questions. I spend the rest of the morning with my colleagues, hacking and testing until it’s time for lunch. After lunch, the hacking continues — and sometimes we have time for a ping-pong match or two during the afternoon.
What made you decide to join Omegapoint?
During my studies, I did an internship at a bank where I first met consultants from Omegapoint. They were both highly skilled and really kind and they spoke so highly of Omegapoint that I immediately felt, that’s where I want to work!
What’s the best part about your role?
The best part of my role is definitely getting to hack and find vulnerabilities in our clients’ systems to help make their applications more secure. I also love the variety, one week I might be testing a large network, and the next I could be hacking a boat.
How would you describe the culture at Omegapoint?
The competence culture is incredible. There are so many talented and kind colleagues who are always eager to share their knowledge. We also have several internal conferences and monthly competence afternoons, where colleagues present different topics to spread knowledge across the company.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation, for sure! I’d love to experience the world in the most convenient way possible, I absolutely love to travel!
